FAQ's
When was Florida Freezer built?
Construction of Florida Freezer began in early 1985 and the facility opened its
doors for business in the fall of 1986. The company and the warehouse was
purchased in December 1988 by a limited partnership and remains under the same
ownership today.
What type of construction materials were used?
The storage areas of the building are constructed of steel insulated
"sandwiched" tilt-up panels around a steel skeleton. The remaining portion of
the building housing the dock, plant and maintenance rooms, and offices is made
of cement block.
Do you have insurance? Will my goods be insured?
Yes, Florida Freezer does carry Warehouse Legal Liability insurance, with
limits of liability set in section 9.d of the Non-Negotiable Warehouse Receipt
for all goods stored. However, Florida Freezer does NOT insure the goods stored
by its clients. It is the responsibility of each client to insure their own
goods.
